The food is great. The free breakfast bar complete with omelet bar and lots of great food options is not to miss. Bongos poolside restaurant has awesome food, and Raes is a formal Italian restaurant that delivers amazing cuisine and overlooks the ocean. Live music, 2:00 pm margarita parties, and all kinds of fun is happening all the time. There are multiple pools for every age and taste, including the adults-only pool. And that beautiful ocean. We went on a dolphin sunset sight seeing tour on a boat from the marina that is part of the resort. So fun and beautiful. I love this place and can’t wait to go back.
Breakfast at Jack's, we were often full from our daily gourmet buffet breakfast (included in resort fee at this time). The omelet station that was run by Adam (AKA Chef Rock) was superb. Bongo's offered good bar fare by the pool or at the beach. Rae's Italian Restaurant was also our spot for dinner 2 nights when the rain didn't let up. Both meals were hot and delicious.
Our lunch poolside was very delicious. Fresh pasta salad and Shrimp Poh boy, yum. Would definitely eat here again.
The food at Bongos was incredible! Right by the pool, fun environment. Hostess was very nice and the waitress was quick and helpful. Absolutely a must in Ft Myers Beach.
The wait staff was kind and couteous, the food was as good as it gets! I enjoyed melt in your mouth salmon, with a special sauce by Chef Rock, tableside!!
Loved bongos. I am normally not a big fan of hotel restaurants but I had awesome service and the best salad ever here back in March. First, Cheryl. Incredibly personable, kind, great at interacting with my kids. We loved her energy and as the coronavirus was settling in she was such a positive person to interact with. Secondly, the salmon chopped salad was the special on our first day. The salmon was cooked to absolute perfection...We ate out at the fancy places and your tourist traps downtown... and bongos food was awesome in comparison. Good job everyone!
